Each item is hand sewn to order, and while we strive for the utmost in quality, sometimes tiny imperfections may be present under extreme scrutiny. At Flutter Mouse we consider those imperfections to add to the character of the garment. Hems are often raw and will be listed as such in the item description. Many of the fabrics used will not fray on their own*, but we do encourage that you treat your new Flutter Mouse garment with care, hand washing and laying flat to dry, or professional dry cleaning. Please avoid high heat on any of the garments. And lastly for the sake of your garment's longevity, in the immortal words of Faye Dunaway's Joan Crawford, no wire hangers.

*The knit jacquard has a higher likelihood of fraying at the edges, which is an intentional aesthetic choice of the designer.
